Kobe Niku Ryori Sugitani was founded with a desire to share the true appeal of Kobe beef with the people of Kobe. As a registered member of the Kobe Beef Marketing & Distribution Promotion Association, the restaurant uses only certified Kobe beef. The chef, who has refined his craft across a wide range of culinary genres, presents an omakase course that also incorporates seasonal seafood.

Using both moderately marbled cuts and more more robust cuts, the chef pairs Kobe beef with Japanese cuisine in a variety of styles.

Each dish is crafted with cooking methods that bring out the character of every ingredient, while the course is composed with care so that it remains balanced and never heavy—allowing guests to enjoy a thoughtful progression of flavors.

The beverage selection is extensive, offering wines by the glass and bottle across a broad range of profiles. Champagne, regularly rotating selections of sake, shochu, draft beer, and craft beer are also available, each chosen to complement the cuisine.

Located in Ninomiya, next to Sannomiya, the restaurant sits in a neighborhood that retains the nostalgic charm of the Showa era. Beyond the red noren curtain lies a space where old and new blend together, centered around a seven‑seat solid wood counter. Guests can enjoy a relaxed meal while watching the chef prepare each dish right before their eyes—making it a fitting destination for special occasions, business dinners, and everyday dining alike.
