Jimbocho Gokita

We are delighted to announce the opening of "Akasaka Himeno."
First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their unwavering support.
I have dedicated myself to the art of yakitori under the guidance of Mr. Yoshiteru Ikegawa, the esteemed master of Meguro's "Torishiki." At Akasaka Himeno, I will continue to honor the grilling techniques and spirit of hospitality I learned from my master while striving for excellence every day.
Our menu highlights premium chicken sourced from all over Japan, such as Date chicken from Fukushima Prefecture, Tosa Jiro chicken from Kochi Prefecture, and Tsuma Jidori chicken from Miyazaki Prefecture. In addition, I personally travel across the country to select the finest vegetables and seasonings.
Using carefully chosen salt, soy sauce, and the cherished tare (sauce) inherited by my master, every skewer is expertly grilled over Kishu Bincho charcoal to achieve the perfect level of doneness.
It is my hope to share the richness of Japan's yakitori culture and the abundance of exceptional ingredients sourced throughout the country, not only with our domestic guests but also with visitors from around the world. May your time at our restaurant become a cherished memory.
I look forward to welcoming you.
Masahiro Himeno, Owner
