About
Tucked away in a quiet basement alley, L’alba is an Italian restaurant offering unique dishes that blend carefully selected ingredients from across Japan with regional Italian cuisine.
The menu features seasonal ingredients sourced from throughout the country, including fresh fish delivered daily from the Goto Islands in Nagasaki and A5‑grade Amakusa Kuroge Wagyu beef from Kumamoto. Handmade pasta prepared in‑house is one of the restaurant’s signature specialties. Each month, a different Italian region is highlighted, with a course menu incorporating traditional dishes from that area—allowing guests to enjoy a diverse range of flavors as if traveling through Italy’s 20 regions.
The restaurant offers around 60 varieties of Italian wine, enabling guests to enjoy pairings that showcase the unique character of each region.
Suitable for a wide range of occasions—from anniversaries and special celebrations to meals with family or friends—the restaurant features an intimate space with only nine counter seats. Guests can enjoy the live cooking experience and conversation with the chef, while the sophisticated interior, defined by striking exposed concrete walls, creates a refined atmosphere. At night, the illuminated exterior adds to its charm, making L’alba a hidden retreat where adults can relax and unwind.
