About
Guided by the spirit of Hama no Masago—the belief that, like grains of sand along the shore, the skills to refine and the care to offer are endless—we devote ourselves to continual craftsmanship in service of our guests’ joy.
Honoring the passion of producers across Japan, we source exceptional ingredients directly from their regions. These are elevated through our signature dashi, made from three‑year‑aged kombu from southern Hokkaido and premium tuna flakes from Makurazaki, creating a clear, elegant umami that forms the foundation of our cuisine. By embracing the wisdom of traditional Japanese fermentation and interpreting it through a modern sensibility, we pursue flavors that are gentle, resonant, and deeply nourishing.
The interior blends contemporary art with antiques, forming a serene Japanese‑modern space. With six counter seats, four private rooms, and a dining area, the restaurant accommodates a wide range of occasions—from family gatherings and meals with friends to business engagements.
Through dishes and tableware that reflect the beauty of the seasons, and hospitality that attends to every detail with sincerity, we welcome you with the hope that your time with loved ones becomes deeper, warmer, and truly memorable.
