About
Nestled along a narrow cobblestone alley, this Japanese izakaya offers dishes that celebrate the blessings of the season. Seasonal vegetables sourced from across Japan form the heart of the menu, with each dish prepared to bring out their finest character. Charcoal-grilled vegetables are finished with restrained seasoning to highlight their natural flavor.
A distinctive feature of the restaurant is its use of Kawachi duck from Osaka—rarely found in Tokyo. Guests can enjoy fresh duck sashimi and, when available, the exceptionally scarce gizzard sashimi. Semi-handmade soba prepared in-house and claypot rice cooked with seasonal ingredients are also among the restaurant’s most beloved offerings.
The drink selection focuses on sake and wine, including seasonal labels, alongside a full range of beers and sours. Staff members certified as sommeliers and sake specialists recommend pairings that complement each dish.
The calm, understated interior features both counter and table seating, offering a relaxed setting in which guests can enjoy food and drink at their own pace. With thoughtfully prepared dishes made from carefully chosen ingredients and beverages that harmonize with each plate, guests are invited to unwind and savor a truly comforting dining experience.
