“Sushi Kozue” is a theater-style sushi restaurant where the owner, who believes that “sushi is an adult entertainment”, performs his best nigiri skills on the counter as if it were a stage.

The owner, Mr. Kozue, trained at a number of well-known Japanese restaurants and sushi restaurants in Tokyo, and honed his skills at his family's sushi restaurant in Kitakyushu before setting up his own restaurant "Sushi Kozue" in October 2021.

The sushi is made with a small amount of vinegared rice so that customers can enjoy many pieces of nigiri that showcase his skills in both Edomae and Kitakyushu styles.

He also offers a wide variety of appetizers based on his experience in Japanese restaurants.
