The restaurant name "roku" takes its name from the birth months(Roku means "six") of the couple who own it, and they aim to provide French cuisine that is rooted in the local community at Sangubashi.

The chef sources ingredients from familiar producers, infusing French cuisine with his own unique touches. Wild vegetables, mushrooms, and game meats feature products from his hometown, Nagano Prefecture. 

Seasonal fruit-based desserts are overseen by Madame.

Using rare ingredients not commonly seen, "Roku" offers the opportunity to experience new flavors.
