
About
Kyobashi Tempura Fukamachi is a tempura specialty restaurant in Kyobashi founded by the owner, Masao Fukamachi. Mr. Fukamachi trained at a tempura and Japanese restaurant in a long-established hotel, HILLTOP HOTEL and continues to preserve the same taste.
Fresh ingredients are sourced from Toyosu Market and fried carefully in Taihaku sesame oil (sesame oil roasted at low temperature).
The tempura dipping sauce is made with Taiko soy sauce from Shimane Prefecture, embodying the "HILLTOP HOTEL style." The oil temperature is adjusted for each ingredient to bring out its flavor.
The specialty sea urchin tempura is wrapped in shiso leaves and features a fluffy steam and rich sea urchin sweetness. Shrimp and scallops are served rare, allowing you to enjoy their concentrated flavor.
The interior of the restaurant is a sophisticated space with a cypress counter and custom-made vermilion trays. You can watch the frying process at the counter seats or enjoy a more relaxed dining experience at the table seats.
