Simplicité is a French restaurant that opened in Daikanyama, Tokyo, in 2017.

Owner-chef Kaoru Aihara, who has experience in starred restaurants in Japan and abroad, is especially skilled in fish dishes. He carefully selects fresh fish from all over Japan (Akashi, Goto Islands, etc.) and uses his own techniques to mature and bring out the best flavors. For example, the “Courvette et Rose,” made with Hakodate button prawns, is a dish that offers a unique flavor along with the aroma of roses.

The interior of the restaurant features a calm and modern wood-grain design, with eight seats at the counter and three private rooms, making it a suitable space for entertaining guests or celebrating special occasions.

“Simplicité” means "sincerity" in Old French, and the name of the restaurant emphasizes its sincere attitude towards ingredients, cuisine, and people. We invite you to experience Chef Aihara's cuisine, which is filled with his technique and sincere respect for ingredients.
