The name ars draws one letter each from the French words for art, connection, and memory, and is also the Latin word for technique. It embodies our desire to honor craftsmanship, human connection, and experiences that linger in memory.

Owner‑chef Kazuya Takagi has refined his skills at numerous renowned restaurants, including Michelin‑starred establishments in Tokyo. Grounded in traditional French methods, he brings together the sensibilities cultivated through his diverse experience to create dishes where classic and modern elements harmonize.

Our menu highlights seasonal ingredients, offering courses that bring out the fullest expression of each season. Among them, our pie‑wrapped specialties—featuring lobster, duck, and game—are signature dishes we highly recommend. The wine list features more than 100 selections, centered on French wines but also including Japanese and New World natural wines, allowing guests to enjoy thoughtful pairings with the cuisine.

The interior is designed around the concept of “comfortable mismatch,” a sophisticated space where contrasting materials and design elements are balanced with intention.
