Our store is located just a 5-minute walk from Marutamachi Station and close by the Kyoto Imperial Palace.

We use water pumped from a well on the premises to make dashi broth, an essential ingredient in Japanese cuisine. By shaving bonito flakes in front of customers, we convey the traditional essence of Japanese cuisine, which is on the verge of being lost.

After tasting the freshly made first brewing dashi broth, guests can savor the seasoned soup stock in the simmered dish. The subtle changes in flavor enhance the overall dining experience.

The newly installed counter seats on the second floor, which have the ambiance of a tea room, are very popular.

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you do not contact us and exceed your reservation time, it will be automatically canceled.

• Dress Code:

  Dress code is smart casual (Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, shorts, and sandals when you visit.)

• Children:

  Only guests who order the same course as adults may be seated at the counter. Private rooms are available for children who do not have a course meal. If needed, please make sure to mention it in the remarks section.
