Owner and chef Tatsuya Ichikawa, a native of Aichi Prefecture, trained at a Michelin-starred restaurant and honed his skills for eight years at Kihuu in Ebisu before opening Higashiazabu Ichikawa in September 2023.

Set around a warm cypress counter, the restaurant offers a deeply seasonal Japanese dining experience featuring premium ingredients such as eel, duck, Matsuba crab, and matsutake mushrooms.
