Chef Yosuke Akasaka served as Executive Chef of Pierre Gagnaire Tokyo, where he maintained two Michelin stars for 14 consecutive years. Driven by a desire to create dishes of his own conception with his own hands and serve them closer to his guests, he opened an intimate French restaurant in Azabu‑Juban in April 2025.

At the foundation of his cuisine are the techniques of classical French cooking and the free‑spirited sensibility he cultivated under Pierre Gagnaire. With sauces and precise heat control at its core, his cooking brings together unexpected ingredients—for example, pairing sea bass with refreshing watermelon, or layering grilled lamb with octopus and smoked paprika.

By combining ingredients freely, Chef Akasaka seeks to deepen and elevate the main ingredient. He describes this approach as “awakening the ingredients.” Using Japanese ingredients at their most expressive moment each season, he captures flavors that can only be experienced at that particular time throughout the course.

The restaurant’s name means “a comfortable home” in French. The white‑toned interior, accented by the warmth of natural wood, offers counter seating, tables, and a private room.

A wine director who has worked alongside the chef for many years and possesses a deep understanding of his cuisine offers selections from more than 250 French wines. A non‑alcoholic pairing centered on Chinese tea is also available, thoughtfully matched to each dish.

Whether dining with someone special or quietly enjoying the cuisine on your own.

Deep flavors, enjoyed in comfort.
